Track Cross Country Camp Questionnaire

As we officially enter summer, I wanted to remind you of a great opportunity for your team this summer. We host a summer co-ed cross country camp from July 11-15 on the campus of the University of Minnesota. There are day camp and overnight camp options and a team discount for 3 or more athletes that register from the same program.

 

Not only is is a great mid-summer opportunity for your kids to get in some quality training and give them a benchmark for how their summers are going and light a little fire if they have not been putting in the miles, but we put primary emphasis on all the "extras" that help make runners go from good to great.

*They will hear from our athletic trainers about prevention and care of injuries in a learn by doing session.

*They will get a strength training session from our strength and conditioning coach as well as learn dozens of strength circuits they can do after runs without any needed equipment.

*Our team nutritionist will talk about tips for pre and post practice and competition nutrition

*They will hit the pool and learn how to cross train in a meaningful way both as a supplement or replacement for running when needed.

*We will touch on drills and form work to help them become more efficient runners.
