We are home! Last weekend of PAC-12 games and senior day on Sunday! #12 ranked Washington is in town to play us with a chance at qualifying for post season still at our fingertips. These are wins that we "get to" go after that could help us reach that .500 mark and a chance at a post season bid. We have won our last two home PAC-12 series against UCLA and then ASU, so we definitely like playing at our place. Our goal is to be leading by the second inning and put at least a run an inning on the board today for a total of 6 or more. We will be facing 70 mph Inglesby who can bring it hard, but our hitters feel confident and plan to attack with nothing to lose. Our pitchers plan to keep them at 5 runs or less which the stats say will give us a great shot at a win. We play today at 6, Saturday at 1 (alumni day!), and Sunday at noon (senior day!). We hope you can come out this weekend to honor our team and our most successful season in the past 6 years since I've been here. Our RPI (ratings percentage index) score has been well below 100 all year for the first time in years. 6 wins in the PAC-12 (and counting), two conference series wins, plus we still lead the country in double plays turned! We also have been ranked 9th in triples. Kate Dickman is leading the PAC12 in doubles!!! Congrats to all our girls and to Kate! There is plenty to see out here so come enjoy the games. There is sunshine expected all 3 days and it's free...what more could you ask for! ASA Youth Softball Day – All youth softball teams are invited to come to Utah Softball Stadium for enjoy the final home series of the 2013 season.
