Dear Alumni,

Our Buckeye Hockey Family lost a special person this morning.  While I never had the chance to meet George, I have heard nothing but great things about him as a person and a Coach.  

George Burke has been associated with the OSU hockey program dating back to OSU Club Hockey in 1959.  When OSU Hockey was granted varsity status in 1964, he  became an Assistant Coach for the Buckeyes and ended his career at Ohio State as the Ice Rink Manager.  He touched many lives throughout his long career in hockey.
